Placed in the historic town of A Coruna, the Domus Casa do Home Museum has one goal in mind, to entertain visitors by stimulating their curiosity.

The actual name of the museum translates as Domus, House of Man, for it is the first interactive museum in the entire world specifically dedicated to the human being. The structure alone is impressive and unusual, designed by Japanese architect Araata Isozaki.

The Domus contains around 200 modules, with most being interactive. A reproduction of Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa sits in the museum as well, except in a different form. Over 10,000 photos of people make up the new take on the Mona Lisa. Exhibits highlight the human identity, demography, the senses, the heart, the motor system, the brain, and language.

The Museum is open daily July through August from 11AM to 9PM. September through June, the hours run from 10AM to 7PM. Admission comes at a low price, just 2 Euros to enter.
