Dordrecht Railway Station

The Netherlands hosts the Dordrecht station. Located on the Staatlijin 1, is one of the prettiest stations in the world. It is not very large, but is superbly clean and convenient for traveling. The city center lies to the north of the station. An important station on the Nederlandese-Spoorwegen railway network, Dordrecht has seen an increase in the number of traffic in recent years.

1 January 1872 saw the opening of the railways station when the rail line connecting the European hubs of Rotterdam and Antwerp. The year 1885 saw the opening of the Dordrecht- Gorinchem railway line.

The Doredrecht station is well connected to Rotterdam, Brussels, Breda, Velo, Gorinchem and Geldermalsen. Moreover it enjoys excellent connectivity with the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the city of Antwerp.

Moreover you can travel to Goud or Amersfoot to reach Leeuwarden or Enschede via Rotterdam. You will also be able to travel from Tilburg to Nijmegen.

The famous places near the station include some very important spectacles including Augestine’s Church; the Grote Kerk (big Church) built in the years between 1285 to 1470, and Hef Hof (the Court).
