Inaugurated in 1999, The Dragao do Mar Center of Art And Culture in Fortaleza, Brazil, is located at Dragão do Mar street, 81, Praia de Iracema. A monument to local history, the center's name is a nod to the abolitionist Chico da Matilde, who refused to transport slaves to auctions further south in Brazil.
