The bookstore is located on the ground floor of a Greek revival mansion, and specializes in history, architecture, and decorating, with an impressive collection of antique maps, as well as a number of local books.

Boasting 12 rooms full of books, E. Shaver Booksellers is a popular destination for both buyers and browsers, and given its selection of architecture and decorating titles, very popular with School of Design students as well. Situated within easy walking distance of a number of Savannah landmarks, including Forsyth Park, the Ghost Hunters Walking Tour, and the Colonial Park Cemetery, among others, E.
