E.R.P.M Golf Club was founded in Boksburg, South Africa in 1903 by the East Rand Property Mines Limited (ERPM) for its employees. It began with three holes of wood and iron built around Boksburg’s first school. These three holes still stand even up to this day.

The club expanded to complete 18 holes. Although originally owned by the company, golf club members successfully purchased the freehold land ownership and surface right permit from the company in 1990.

Like most golf clubs, E.R.P.M Golf Club requires that anyone visiting the clubhouse be in smart casual attire and in golf attire on the course. Soft-spiked golf shoes are required, too.

E.R.P.M Golf Club is open in most days of the year except Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Good Friday. Visitors are welcome to the golf course except on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It has a pro shop, restaurant, function room for hire, chipping green, practice bunker, putting green, halfway house, trophy display, bar, board room, and locker rooms.
