Every Saturday, more than 25,000 Detroit residents and tourists alike flock to the market to browse the offerings of over 150 vendors. Products sold include fruits and vegetable, cheeses, plants, herbs, jams and much more. Farmers come from all over the area, including Michigan, Ohio and Canada to sell their goods at the Detroit Eastern Market.

The market is open every Saturday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. The market is a lively place to spend an afternoon and marvel at the variety of products for sale.
