Hotels near Easterwood Airport, College Station, United States .

The idea for the Easterwood Airport was planted in 1938 by the Board of Directors of Texas A&M College. Named in 1940 for Navy Lieutenant Jesse Easterwood, the airport today serves as the premier regional airport for Texas 7M University, Bryan-College Station and Brazos County, Texas. The William A. McKenzie Terminal at Easterwood provides daily flights to and from Dallas and Houston and is a hub for both American and Continental Airlines. Flyers will be happy to find out about the complimentary free two hour parking the airport offers.

The Easterwood Airport has played a vital role in travel to and from some of Texas’ biggest events, including the opening of the Bush Library and former President George H.W. Bush’s famous parachute jump. Several athletic teams also fly through the Easterwood Airport to participate in competitions in surrounding schools.

Open from 4:45 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily, the Easterwood Airport is the portal to several area attractions. Visitors should check out www.easterwoodairport.com to find out more information regarding flight schedules, area hotels and other airport information.
