EC Krakow is situated in the capital of Poland, Krakow. As a result of privatization, in 1998 the company gained a strategic investor, a consortium of Electricité de France International (EDF).
EC Krakow tries to focus on three spheres. The first two are the provision to local residents with heat and electricity while caring for its surroundings and helping to preserve the natural environment. The social solidarity company EC Krakow is trying to support people with disabilities in their efforts to integrate into society. Thus the third sphere is sports events, mainly to allow people with disabilities to compete with each other and with others outside the group.
