Elings Park is a private 230-acre park near the water, off Las Positas Road in Santa Barbara. Featuring spectacular views of the city, facilities for sporting events and weddings, Elings Park is a popular spot for locals and tourists.

Originally called Las Positas Park, the first phases of construction in 1972 focused on tennis courts not included in the park today. Afterwards, Godric Grove (sight of weddings) and Well Fargo Amphitheater were built, along with parking lots and the Singleton Pavilion. A generous donation by Dr. Virgil Elings in 1999 led to the park’s name being changed. Elings Park offers plenty of summer camp options for the kids. There are several softball fields as well, along with places to play Frisbee, walk the dogs and see different racing events. RC Car races and BMX races are held here, along with spots for paragliding. Picnic areas are available. Visitors are recommended to see the Vietnam Veterans Living Memorial.
