Elishabet Square
Elishabet Square, formerly known as Erszebet ter, is a square park located in the city of Vecsés, Hungary.
It has a surface of almost 2 ha and was inaugurated in 1883 and was once the site of a cemetery. In the center stands the Danubius fountain, designed also in 1883 and originally set up on Kalvin ter. The figures on the fountain symbolize Mother Danube and the daughters, the three main tributaries, the Drau, the Tisza and the Save. The buildings in the north side of the square are having a neo-classical architecture
The square is displayed only 18.4 kilometers from the Ferihegy airport.
