Both rainbow trout and king salmon are held at the fishery, before being released into the ocean or local streams, respectively. The big draw is the salmon viewing area, which is open from May until September, from eight in the morning until ten at night. This spot gives visitors the chance to see Chinook salmon and coho salmon in the wild, attempting to swim upstream to reach their spawning grounds. It's actually a quite unique and exciting sight, regardless of your age.
