Elphin Windmill is a detached, circular-plan, three-stage windmill built in 1730 in County Roscommon, near Elphin, Ireland.

One of the oldest windmills in Ireland, it is believed to have been built by the Bishop of Elphin, Edward Synge, to help in self-sufficiency in food production for the town. It was in ruins by 1830, and later restored to its original condition in 1996.

Today the windmill is an object of curiosity for tourists, with its thatched rye rotating roof with four timber sails. A timber tail pole is connected to roof and resting on cart wheel to ground, used to direct the sail with fixed pane glass to upper story windows.
There is a modern single-story Windmill Cottage to south of mill in use as a Visitor Centre.

The windmill is open to the public all year, from Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
