Enschede station
Station Enschede is a Dutch station, located in De Lutte. It was opened on July the 1st, 1866, but the present station dates from 1950. The station is located on the outskirts of the city center of Enschede and was originally built outside the city on line D (Zutphen - Gronau, opened between 1865 and 1868).

The bus station is located in the front of the station and has eleven platforms. From this bus station tens of buses leave to the various districts of Enschede, and to various places in Twente and the Achterhoek. The bus services are provided by Connexxion and Syntus, which collectively operate under the name of Twente. On July the 1st, 1866 Enschede was a station on the line Zutphen - Gronau.

On either side of the building there is a low wing. The two low sides of the building are connected by a wall. The station does not actually follow an architectural pattern. It is simply built to the taste of the time. Other concerns were for the building to be economic, functional and sound.
