Right near Estonia's hub of Tallinn, travelers can take a trip back to the olden days of the country by visiting the Estonian Open Air Museum. The Museum shows a true glimpse at Estonian countryside and village life, containing one of the largest collections of national architecture in Estonia.

The structures are endless in this museum, with around 72 old village constructions. Visitors can walk through 12 farms, a church, tavern, schoolhouse, mills, a fire station, dancing area, and fishing net sheds. The Estonian Open Air Museum lives up to its name, located right in the middle of a forest park exposed to nothing but sky on the high sandstone bank at Kopli Bay.

While open daily, admission to the Estonian Open Air Museum costs 95 EEK for an adult from the end of April through September. From September through April the price drops to just 50EEK a person. Visitors can easily reach the museum by taking bus no. 21 from the Baltic railway station to the museum gate, or driving just 15 minutes from the center of Tallinn.
