The Explora Science Center is designed to enlighten, amuse and inform visitors of all ages, from toddlers to adults. The learning center provides real experiences, giving kids hands on lessons—it’s not just your average science center, it’s also a museum, a school, a community, an experience. Explora serves more than 200,000 people each year. It has provided free Helping Hand memberships to over 5,000 families whose children qualified for free school lunches. They work with schools and non-profits to bring knowledge to the forefront. Opening hours are Monday-Saturday 10AM-6PM and Sunday 12PM-6PM. Admission costs $7 for everyone over 12. Seniors over 65 pay $5, children from 1-11 pay $3 and babies get in free.
