Faurot Field is the home of the University of Missouri Tigers football team and located in Memorial Stadium at 600 E Stadium Boulevard. Named after longtime coach Don Faurot, the stadium dates all the way back to 1926, when it was called Memorial Stadium to honor U of M alumni who gave their lives in battle during World War I.

While the original stadium was natural grass, the playing surface has been changed to artificial turf and back to grass several times throughout the years. In 2003, a new type of surface called Field Turf was installed. Field Turf has the advantages of maintenance and consistency afforded by turf while providing a much safer playing surface than previous forms of turf available throughout history. The stadium seats over 70,000 people and can reach a capacity up to 75,000, as it has done in bowl games throughout the years.

Parking options at the stadium are extensive. Seven university garages are located in the vicinity. Handicapped parking is also available.

If staying in the area, the Hampton Inn and Suites on the University of Missouri campus is a great option. Regency Premier Downtown is another option on 1111 E. Broadway. The Campus Inn on Stadium Boulevard is a budget option.
