Federal Hill Park is a public community park in the Baltimore neighborhood of Federal Hill, which is located just to the south of Baltimore's central business district. The park lies at the crest of the Federal Hill, which rises up conspicuously in the center of the city and which can be seen from many parts of the harbor.

The park got its name from the procession that, in the year of 1788, made its way through Baltimore and stopped at this particular location to celebrate Maryland's ratification of the national constitution. A model ship which accompanied the procession, named the "Federalist," was slid down the hill and put to sail in the harbor next to the park, and some time thereafter the name simply stuck.

The Federal Hill Park sits on the Inner Harbor Waterfront, which is a hub of cultural and night activity in the city of Baltimore, which means that many people use the grounds for enjoyment and recreation all year round.
