Flames of the Forest is a popular area that appeals to both locals and visitors. It is located under the canopy of a rain forest situated just 10 minutes away from Port Douglas. An evening at this unique restaurant is not one of those spur-of-the-moments things because there are no payment facilities on site – that means that booking and paying should be done beforehand. It is also important to note that a 100% cancellation fee applies to all bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the event.

There are two types of regular events/dining experience at the Flames of the Forest – Thursdays and Fridays are dedicated to a night of tracing the Aboriginal history and culture while Saturdays are reserved for a romantic dining experience where tables for two are available. The rates and inclusive food/services differ between these two events – former has more inclusions and is priced at $199/adult and $130/child (6 to 16 years old). Children under the age of 6 are not allowed in the venue of security reasons.

Aside from these regular events, the Flames of the Forest may also be booked for special occasions such as weddings and other private gatherings.
