Whether it's learning more about the universe and gazing at stars, experiencing a ferocious T-Rex on the large-format SkyDome, or learning all about famous cowboys from around the world, there's always a program screening that's as exciting as it is informative.

Before or after seeing a movie at the planetarium, visitors can enjoy the museum itself, with an ever-changing array of exhibits designed for their hands-on value. Learn more about how the Earth works by spinning a gigantic rotating model of it, or find out how a black hole works by investigating the black hole demonstrator. There are also a number of smaller exhibits, like working models of the solar system, as well as an extensive section devoted to explaining visual illusions. The exhibits at the science center are free to the public.

The Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center is open daily from noon until eight at night, and on weekends from ten in the morning until nine at night. Winter hours are often slightly reduced, so check ahead.
