The recently-opened Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center is an important part of the larger National Marine Sanctuaries of Key West, Florida. The 6,400.square-foot facilities treats visitors to an exciting array of interactive exhibits that seek to highlight the richness of the natural environment of the Keys.

Located in the Doctor Nancy Foster Florida Keys Environmental Complex, the center is meant to exhibit and interpret the area’s natural resources and the efforts undertaken to preserve them. A seventeen-minute video is made available to give visitors a comprehensive idea about the world of the National Marine Sanctuaries, as are underwater cameras and other interactive exhibits.
