The Former San Juan Navy Base, located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a military structure which is no longer in use. As a former member of the governmental edifices designated for national protection purposes, the navy base was the site of the headquarters of numerous water-bound expeditions and operations. As both a defensive and offensive location, this strategic base was used in many instances of threats and actual conflicts between Puerto Rico and other countries.
