Inaugurated on November 29th, 1985, after three years of construction, the Fraternity Bridge stretches 1,600 feet over the River Iguazu, connecting the cities of Puerto Iguazu, Argentina, and Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. Officially named the Tancredo Neves Bridge, the Fraternity Bridge is much lesser known, and less traveled than its sister bridge, the Friendship Bridge, which stretches over the River Parana, connecting Brazil and Paraguay.

As high as 230 feet over the River Iguazu in parts, the Fraternity Bridge links Argentine Route 12 with Mercosul Ave on the Brazilian side of the river. The bridge is popular with tourists to the Tri-Border Area, seeking to visit Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay in the same day, as well as with those visiting the famous Iguazu Falls.

With the Fraternity Bridge connecting two significant cities, tourists in the area have a multitude of lodging options. On the Argentine side of the bridge, hotel accommodations include the Iguazu Grand Hotel and Casino, La Strada, and the St. George Hotel. On the Brazilian side of the bridge, lodging possibilities include Turrance Green Hotel, Hotel AVM, Hotel Gran Via, and the Hotel Rafain Centro Ltda.
