Lutheran church built in about 1180.

Freiberg Cathedral is noted for it beautiful interior including many ornate
brass monuments, sculptures, and paintings. Two of the highlights of the cathedral
are the Silbermann organ and the Golden Gate. The latter being a lavish sandstone
doorway decorated with columns and sculptures on the southern side of the
cathedral.
