The French Church or Französische Kirche in Bern, Switzerland is the oldest church
in the city. Completed in 1285 The French Church of Bern was a section of a
Dominican monastery. Years later in 1623, the church was adopted by French speaking
Protestants.

The façade of the building and two small section inside the church (the frescoed
roof screen and the choir stalls) are the few original pieces left in this highly
renovated building.

The French Church encourages visitors and is still in use today by the Francophone
Protestants.
