Friedrichstrabe Shopping Street, also dubbed the Champs Elysees of Berlin, is a hub of culture, history, fashion, entertainment and nightlife. Friedrichstrabe is the essence of Berlin and capturing the spirit of its people and their trials through time. Devastated after the 2nd world wall it had to rebuild itself to glory. The street is riddled with with historic relics, most prominent is "Checkpoint Charlie" which divided the city between east and west.

It boasts 100,000 square meters of high end retail outlets including international brands like Louis Vitton, Gucci, Galleries Lafayette and local brands like Crines Design, Crusz, Werner Scherer among its illustrious ranks. The street is decked with jewerly shops, shoe stores, toy stores, accessories, perfumeries, furniture stores etc anything imaginable is available through the North South route of this street.

The northern section of the road bears the tab of being the entertainment district of the city with not just cinemas but cultural hotspots like Freiedrichstadtpalast, Deutsches theatre and Berliner Ensemble. The northern area also boasts of great nightclubs and various nightlife activities. The Southern section is much humbler by comparison.
