A family friendly restaurant and bar rolled into one, the Front Street Grill & Bar offers “the best calamari in town” and a relaxed ambiance to enjoy one of Lahaina, Maui´s specialty: seafood. The menu features pina colada shrimp (coconut shrimp) and teriyaki steak that is marinated for 24 hours. Guests can also enjoy the famous mahi-mahi fish, which as the menu says “is so good it was named twice.” A nod to the Japanese ancestors that many Hawaiians have is the sashimi plate, an appetizer that features raw fish and spicy green wasabi paste.

All entrees come with bread, rice and Caesar salad. There is a special children´s menu featuring burgers, fries and grilled cheese sandwiches. Happy hour features draft beer at reasonable prices and an imitation Jimmy Buffet band. Most clients come for the deck seating, which offers ocean views. It is reasonably priced by Hawaiian standards, with entrees ranging from $18 to $25. No reservations are required, just a good attitude and the desire to enjoy good food, good drink, and good vibes.
