Located in Fullerton, Orange County at 120 East Santa Fe Avenue, the Fullerton Amtrak Station is a stop on Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner and Southwest Chief routes and Metrolink's 91 Line and Orange County Line trains. It is also an important bus depot for the Orange County Transportation Authority. The Amtrak Southwest Chief, stops once a day in either direction, but westbound trains stop only to discharge passengers, and eastbound ones stop only to board them.

The station was created from two historic depots, one built in 1923 by the Union Pacific Railroad, and currently home of the Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant, and the other built seven years later by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad, and is now the passenger waiting room and café. Both buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places.

Due to the plentiful seating, eating options and historical nature of the Fullerton Station, it is popular locations for viewing and watching trains.

The Fullerton Station is open from 5:30 am10:45 pm, although metro link vending machines are available 24 hours a day.

Historic downtown Fullerton is easily reached by walking from the station. The town is home to a large number of theaters, including The Fullerton Civic Light Opera, and has over 50 city parks. It is nearby Anaheim attractions such as Disneyland Park, the Angels Stadium of Anaheim and the Honda Center.
