The Galveston Country Club, located at 14228 Stewart Road in Galveston, Texas, is a multipurpose golf resort and event facility, which hosts a number of community events. Some of these events may include Mah Jongg and Bridge groups, Pirates' Property Owners Association, and the Galveston Country Club's Republican Women association. The Women's Association of Galveston Country Club is pleased to offer visitors luncheon services, special services, and socials. An excellent taste of southwest cooking is available at lunchtime from Tuesdays through Sundays, as well as dinners served Wednesdays through Saturdays in the Terrace Room beginning at 5. A special Sunday brunch buffet consisting of waffles, smoked salmon, seafood gumbo, fresh fruit, and more, is available from 10 to 1:30 every Sunday. Golf lessons and tee times are available through the Pro Shop, with many people coming from all around to play on the course, which features over fifty sand bunkers, a number of water holes, and lovely water birds.
