Gambetta Station

Gambetta is a station on the Paris Metro network, in the city of in France. It serves Line 3 and is the southern terminus of the line 3a in the 20th arrondissement.

In 1969, the railway station absorbed the former Martin Nadaud Station, which was being restored. The name refers to Léon Gambetta (1838-1882), a French politician.
The station was opened on January the 25th, 1905 as the terminus of metro line number 3. On November the 27th, 1921 it was extended to the underground station Porte des Lilas Gambetta station which was a transit station.
