The Actors Theatre of Louisville is a peforming arts center located in Louisville, Kentucky. It was established in 1964, by Richard Block, a producer and Ken Jenkins an actor. The theatre is renowned throughout the world as one of America’s leading non-profit professional theatre companies. The theatre has played a large role in remaking the American playwriting scene. It has had the honor of premiering no less than three Pulitzer prize winners, The Gin Game, Crimes of the Heart and Dinner with Friends. Today the theater maintains this tradition of producing great works of art that challenge and explore who we are. Around 600 performances are presented each season. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or online.
