The Adelaide Botanic Garden, which spans 125-acres, is a public garden located in the north-east corner of the Adelaide city center in Adelaide, South Australia. The garden encompasses a fenced area that sits between the National Wine Center and the Royal Adelaide Hospital. It is one of the three gardens, which make up the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide. The two gardens are Wittunga Botanic Garden and the Mount Lofty Botanic Garden.

The Adelaide Botanic Garden was opened to the public in 1857. The layout of the garden is said to have been influenced y the Gardens in Kew and Versailles. The garden also sports German and Dutch influences. The 19th century buildings located in Adelaide Botanic Garden also help to add to its Northern European feel.

Primary features of the Adelaide Botanic Garden include the Palm House or the Victoria Glasshouse, the Rose Garden, and the Bicentennial Conservatory. The garden opens at 7:15 am during weekdays and 9 am during weekends and holidays. Closing times for the garden vary throughout the year.
