Glorieta Insurgentes is a spot in Mexico City’s Iztapalapa neighborhood, at the corner of Chapultepec and Oaxaca, four blocks below the Paseo ode la Reforma. The monument to peace is here, along with a key metro station and bus stop. On one end of the spot is the Zona Rosa, a big tourist and financial center. Also nearby is the Colonia Roma, a key neighborhood in Mexico City where many Italian immigrants began their lives in the country.
