Golden Gardens Park is located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle and is a popular urban getaway for nature-lovers, beach-goers and recreation enthusiasts. The majority of the park is located on the shores of the Puget Sound and features beach areas, wetlands, hiking trails, playgrounds, picnic areas and volleyball and basketball courts. The upper portion area of the park also has a dog park and additional trails. Water sport enthusiasts can enjoy sailing, kayaking and canoeing...for most folks the water is too cold for swimming. The park is also a haven for waterfowl and other birds including eagles and Canada Geese. Golden Gardens Park is also an excellent place to enjoy a beautiful Pacific Northwest sunset and incredible views of the surrounding Olympic Mountain Range.

Park hours at Golden Gardens are daily from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; parking is available but it is best to arrive early to find a space.
