Adisucipto International Airport is the main airport serving Yogyakarta which is located on the island of Java in Indonesia. The airport itself is situated in the Sleman district on the northeast outskirts of Yogyakarta. It is close to the historic temple site, Pramban and is approximately 6 kilometers away from the city center.

Adisucipto International Airport is considered the third busiest airport in the island after Juanda International Airport in Surabaya and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. The airport served its first international flight which was bound for Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia via Garuda Indonesia.

The airport is located merely 10 meters away from a railway line. This enabled the designers to create a fused terminal by building a bus terminal and railway station in the airport. Today, the airport is being developed in order to be able to serve the growing number of passengers.

There are numerous hotels located near the airport including Hotel Ibis Malioboro Yogyakarta, Saphir Yogyakarta Hotel and Melia Purosani.
