Located just a few kilometers outside of Venice, Villa Condulmer is a majestic 18th century villa built by Venetian nobility. The elegant building, now a five star hotel, still bear the Condulmer family crest and it boasts four large frescos by Eugenio Moretti Larese. Famous guests staying the night here include Verdi during the opening of his opera La Traviata in 1853 and Ronald Reagan in 1987 during the G8 summit in Doges.

If the stunning architecture wasn’t enough, the villa is set in a magnificent park which also houses a swimming pool and the Golf Club Villa Condulmer, founded in 1960. The tranquility of its former aristocratic past is still evident in the club where no dogs are allowed and shoes with soft spikes area a requirement.

The club’s courses include 18-holes (yellow men at 5955 m and red ladies 5285 m) where the technical difficulty is moderate and the terrain mostly flat but with water hazards, and a 9-hole course with par 29. The latter is only open upon request, the 18-hole course is however open every day, but due to its popularity advanced booking is recommended. You will also need a valid handicap certificate from your home club and on weekdays (Monday – Friday) the handicap limit is 36.

The 18-hole course is priced at €65 during weekdays and goes up to €70 on weekends and holidays. Students and juniors receive a 50% discount. The practice facilities include driving and a putting range and you can hire clubs and trolleys. Caddies are only available upon request.

The club also has a bar and a restaurant, which is closed on Mondays, and provides locker rooms and a playground for children.
