Gostiny Dvor

Gostiny Dvor is a station of the Saint Petersburg Metro on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line.

It was opened on November3, 1967. The station has two exists: one inside the northern side of the Gostinyi Dvor mall and one at the intersection between Griboyedov Channel and Nevsky prospect. The first exit has an entrance that lets the riders enter the mall directly. Via a transfer corridor the station and a set of escalators, the station also linked to Nevsky Prospekt. The station is one of the busiest stations in the entire St. Petersburg Metro and the busiest station on the line.

The station is in close proximity to various noteworthy landmarks, including Kazan Cathedral, Church of the Savior on Blood and Russian Museum. It is the closest station to Hermitage, Summer Garden, Saint Isaac's Cathedral, Bronze Horseman and Admirality, though construction of Admiralteyskaya station will likely change that.
