Grand Baie or Grand Bay, a horse-shoe shaped bay, is a top tourist beach district in Pamplemousses, Mauritius. It was the location of the British Invasion of Ile de France on November of 1810. It has facilities for safe swimming, sailing, glass-bottom boat rides, windsurfing, water skiing, and other water sports.
