Hotels near Grand Forks International Airport, Grand Forks, United States .

The Grand Forks International Airport is owned and operated by the city of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and is situated approximately five miles due northwest of the center of town. The airport is also commonly referred to as the Mark Andrews International Airport.

The Grand Forks International Airport does not actually have scheduled commercial passenger airline flight services to other countries, but does include customs officers for general aviation flights arriving from Canada or other nations. The majority of the airport's traffic is due to the operation of the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, which is part of the University of North Dakota system, based at the airport.

Airlines flying out of the Grand Forks International Airport include Northwest (in reality Delta) as well as Allegiant Air, the former heading to Minneapolis and the latter to Las Vegas. The airport terminal includes dining facilities, a gift shop as well as a waiting area, and there are car rental and ground transportation options outside. Visit the airport's official website at http://www.gfkairport.com/ for further details.

Only a few miles from the airport in the direction of town, visitors will find ample accommodation options to choose from, including the Settle Inn-Grand Forks, the Econo Lodge, and the Clarion Inn.
