Originally founded in 1910, the Grand Rapids Art Museum recently moved, and now has the distinction of being the first newly-constructed, Gold LEED-Certified art museum in the world. Guests can see art in a wide range of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, furniture, and more in the Grand Rapids Art Museum. Museum hours are 10am-5pm from Tuesday to Thursday and Saturdays, 10am-10pm Fridays, and from 12 noon-5pm Sundays. The museum café is open from 11am-3pm Tuesday to Sunday. Admissions for adults are $8, for seniors (62+) and college students with ID $7, and $5 for kids (under 6 get in free). The museum will from time to time have ticketed exhibitions, and prices may vary.
