Built in 1926, and renovated in 1941 after a severe hurricane, Grayson Stadium is a baseball stadium in Savannah, Georgia. Grayson is the home of the Savannah Sand Gnats, a minor league Class A affiliate of Major League Baseball’s New York Mets. Often referred to as “Historic Grayson Stadium”, the field is the oldest ballpark in use within minor league baseball in the United States.

Grayson Stadium is located just outside of the historic district of Savannah, and has a seating capacity of 8,000 visitors. The stadium is named after General William L. Grayson, a Spanish – American War Veteran who helped secure funding for the 1941 renovation. Just a short drive away from the center of Savannah, Grayson is an easy afternoon retreat from the tourist bustle of River Street.

Situated adjacent to Daffin Park, at 1401 East Victory Drive in Savannah, Grayson Stadium is open according to the schedule of the Savannah Sand Gnats, and occasionally for other special events.
