The museum's main purpose is to present science in a fun and interactive way, and it's entirely possible that most children will be so captivated with the excitement, they won't even realize that a visit is also educational.

In addition to a number of traveling exhibitions throughout the year, The Adventure Science Center has some permanent exhibitions on the human body, weather patterns, and different ecosystems with animals and plants alike. One of the most popular spots at the museum is the Sudekum Planetarium, where visitors can enjoy different star-gazing shows, some of which show over 6,000 stars with a high-tech projector. There are also occasional live performances of music along with the night sky shows.

The Adventure Science Center is open Monday through Saturday from ten in the morning until five in the afternoon, and on Sundays from 12:30pm until 5:30pm. The closest hotels are the Best Western Hotel Music Row, a Comfort Inn Hotel Music Row, and the Wyndham Hotel.
