The Great Synagogue of Jerusalem is led by Rabbi Zalman Druck as well as the president of the synagogue, Rabbi Dr. David M. Fuld. It is located at 58 King George Street, Jerusalem, Israel and was planned in 1923 as a form of a large central synagogue in the city. It was not until over 30 years later that the plan was fully realized with a small synagogue that was established within the building.

The design of the building was modeled after the great Jewish Temple that once stood in the city. The sanctuary is expected having seats around 850 for men and 550 for women and there are several collections of artworks that are housed in the establishment which include a private collection of mezuzah cases that is displayed inside the lobby of the building.
