The Groenkloof Nature Reserve is a natural reserve located in South Africa. It is known for its vegetation and for its wildlife. It features broken ridges, which vary in steepness. The type of vegetation found in Groenkloof Nature Reserve is a semi-open thicket, with a lot of woody trees including the Acacia Caffra. Wildlife found in the Groenkloof Nature Reserve includes jackals, zebra, wildebeest, blesbuck, red hartebeest, ostriches, giraffe, sable, kudu, and more. The reserve is also known for its rich avian life.

The Groenkloof Nature Reserve can trace its history back to 1895 when the president, Paul Kruger, proclaimed the area as a nature reserve and game sanctuary. It is open for visits from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the summer months (September to April) and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the winter months.
