The Gudhaibiya Guest Palace is located in the neighborhood of Gudhaibiya in Manama which is the largest and capital city of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Gudhaibiya Guest Palace, along with the Old Palace is heavily guarded palaces that are officially used by Bahrain’s royalty for holding ceremonial occasions. The Gudhaibiya Guest Palace is also used to host important guests from other countries and many other dignitaries that are visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The palace is located in an older part of the city. Though quite mature, Gudhaibiya is still one of Manama’s most bustling and busy areas. It is a busy cosmopolitan area which is home to numerous new and important arrivals and visits in the Kingdom. The government offices in Bahrain, including the parliament, are also located in Gudhaibiya.

The area where Gudhaibiya is located contains large numbers of Filipino, Indian, Pakistani and Ethipian Residents. It is also the site of a leading cultural center – the Ebrahim Al-Arrayedh Poetry House which is the home of the late great and widely celebrated Bahraini poet, Ebrahim Al-Arrayedh.
