The Gwalior airport is the main airport that serves passengers located in the city of Gwalior in the Madhya Pradesh State in India. There are two airlines that have routes to the Gwalior region. They are the Indian Airlines, Air India Regional and the Kingfisher Airlines. They have destinations to and from Delhi, Jabalpur and other cities.

The airport is the airway to Gwalior City in Madhya Pradesh state in India. Gwalior is one of the most populous areas in the country. The city was once the capital of Great Maratha Sardar and Warrior Maharaja Shrimant Madhavroji shinde-Sawstant Gwalior.

One of the city’s many attractions is the fortress, Gwalior Fort, which was built by Raja man Singh Tomar. The structure was once considered as one of India’s most invincible forts. The area which it was built on was so steep that scaling it was once impossible. Many tourists and students of photography frequent the area in order to photograph the majestic fort.

The fort is also known as the Gibraltar of India. Other sights in the city are the Mausoleum of Ghous Mohammed, the tomb of Mian Tansen, the Gujari Mahal, the Jai Vilas Palace and the Dabra-Bhitarwar Road. The only hotel in the vicinity is the Usha Kiran Palace Hotel.
