Haidhausen is a district of Munich. Haidhausen is located above the Au on the Isarhochterrasse. The district is bordered to the north Bogenhausen, east of Berg am Laim, in the south of the Au, to the west of the district with the River Isar from closed.
Haidhausen Orleans is the center square. The old village center was in exactly the intersection of Church and Seeriederstraße. In Haidhausen is also one of the three train stations in Munich- Haidhausen Munich. An S-Bahn station is the station Ostbahnhof. In Haidhausen is located the Maximilianeum the seat of the Bavarian parliament.
The French quarter in Haidhusen is a contrasting area, thus named because of the name of the streets composing it. They are named after places of victorious battles in the Franco-German War (1870-1871).
