Egypt has had the distinction of being one of the most culturally rich countries in the world. There is so much that Egypt has to offer that most people do not know of all its mausoleums and landmarks that must be given due notice. One of these landmarks is the Aga Khan Mausoleum, which is the burial place of Aga Khan, the 48th Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims.

Aga Khan was known to be extremely wealthy, and his mausoleum is indeed an excellent sight to behold. Even the location where the mausoleum is located is known to have an excellent view, this includes the white villa of Aga Khan.

Unfortunately, the Aga Kahn Mausoleum is no longer open to the public for viewing. It can be said that family friends may be fortunate enough to be granted a visit the mausoleum upon the request of those who have been authorized.
