Opened in 2004, after the St. Louis Cardinals major league baseball franchise acquired the Tennessee Smokies minor league baseball team, relocating them to Springfield, Missouri, Hammons Field is a minor league baseball stadium in downtown Springfield. The stadium is home to both the Springfield Cardinals and the Missouri State University baseball team.

Lauded as one of the most beautiful minor league baseball stadiums in the United States, Hammons Field has a capacity of over 10,000, including 28 luxury box suites. Also of note are the scoreboard and JumboTron, amongst of the largest of any stadium, major or minor league, in the country. The stadium is owned by John Q. Hammons Industries, a local hotel development company.

Hammons Field is located at 955 East Trafficway in Springfield, and does have on-site parking facilities.
