Hangzhou Railways Station is found in the Shangcheng District in Hangzhou, a city in China. Hangzhou Railways Station ranks first-class in terms of design and performance and is currently the terminal of Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway.

The station was built in 1906 and initially served as a stop along the Jiang-Shu railway. Its former name was Qing Tai Men Station and was opened on August 23, 1907. The station was formerly located hundreds of meters away from the city of Hangzhou which was very inconvenient for the people during that time. Thus, Ma Yifu, a Chinese scholar suggested that it be moved into the city. This consequently allowed the passenger load of the station to grow and it was redeveloped in 1999 to cope with future demands in terms of passenger capacity.
