The Hangzhou Zoo is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hangzhou, China. The zoo showcases a variety of animals that includes those that are endemic to China such as pandas, and animals that have been imported from other countries.

The entrance fee for the zoo is minimal and it includes an animal show that is presented in a circus style. The show showcases talented and well-trained animals such as lions, tigers, elephants and bears.

Hangzhou Zoo attracts thousands of visitors every year and it houses hundreds of animals. Visitors and their children can spend an entire day exploring the vicinity and stopping once in a while to enjoy the many animal performances that are done at regular intervals during the day.

The admission ticket for the zoo is RMB 20 for adults, RMB 10 for children with a height between 1-1.3 meters. Entrance is free for children that are shorter than 1 meter. Opening hours is 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from May 1 to October 7 and 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from October 8 to April 30.
